Some years ago I was on a night shoot for an action movie in Romania.
-Trust me, this was not as glamorous as it sounds.
The production needed some footage to place in the windows in a kitchen scene shot on a soundstage. So I was dispatched to this super creepy farm together with a couple of guys manning a cherry picker, which is a very, very large lamp on a crane. I got the footage and then as we were waiting to go back I took a few photos of a nearby barn. I posted the picture on Flickr and forgot about it until I got an email from Simon and Schuster, Australia who wanted to buy the photo for a book cover. So now my random photo from Romania is gracing a paperback in Australia called “The Long Night” by Christian White. Sometimes the power of the internet is actually a pretty cool thing.
